I'm also old enough to remember a two week window when an acid trip was considered something spiritually significant...pre-disco that was. Oh yes. We didn't just gobble any old drugs in those days just to make the music sound better. Oh no. Drug-taking was looked on as a serious step on the road to enlightenment. I'll have you know.
Turn on, tune in, drop out!!!! welcome to the Timothy Leary flower show.
Interesting video, although looking a bit dated and obvious...using 'Mandala' imagery (Geometric shapes too you) not so sure it's suits this modern age when sad old gits like myself remember earlier videos of similar theme.
The use of the Indian connection with the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi was good, but what else could you expect with a george driven song!
Very trippy dippy, would of gone down a storm in the sixties...
I don't suppose that anyone noticed that in fact there was never any moving footage recorded of any of the Beatles singing these tracks - what you see in this video is all cheated by editing tiny bits of Blue Jay Way together and running them backwards to fit the words for Within You Without You/Tomorrow Never Knows. Cool eh?

Turn on, tune in, drop out....yeah baby (Austin Powers voice). To me it looks like a new paint job on an antique roadster.
