Never eat fizzy taramasalata. I did last night. I sort of knew it tasted funny but was so hungry I carried on. Thankfully I didn't eat all of it but even so - crashing blinding headache and nausea within two hours of eating. That'll teach me.
Now I'm prepared to eat most anything ... but a fish product going all fizzy, that's where I draw the line. Will eat yoghurts long after they've passed the eat-by date and have started to seperate ... haven't come a cropper yet
I hope you recover from the nausea, you'll have to get well for tomorrow's drink / meet, where afterwards you can spew all over again after your usual 12 pints of 'Buie / thunderbirds.
Taramasalata is one of those foods I just avoid anyway, because I sometimes react to it badly - any kind of fish roe or oily fish like mackerel can give me awful headaches or make me nauseous. There's something icky about the taste of taramasalata anyway. Er, in my opinion.
Bobby - get back to Molly's - naughty boy for following me!! Here - take some supplies with you and a hot water bottle. It's very cold tonight and we don't want you catching a chill.

WOOF!!
"Fluffy" hummous is also to be avoided. I mean when it starts rising like bread and getting a mousse-like consistency.
Everybody - much better now thanks
