Cafe Del Nightmare - thank you!
Sad news I was sorry to hear. I hope you get some positive feed back
Momo Madster - yes - truly dreadful. I hope they find the fucker that stole the truck! And the gear. Let's just hope it was an opportunist as opposed to someone who knew exactly what was in the truck...smacks of hotel inside job if it was more organised - how else would anyone know? Happens all the time in the US. My credit card was cloned by a hotel worker in US - they spent so much on it while I stayed at the very hotel they were working at I couldn't even pay my bill and I was treated like a criminal as a result! Outrageous!
OK - looks like it wasn't an opportunist. Bad news.

Cafe Del Nightmare - thank you- thank you - yes I saw it. There has been a huge pan-internet alert to this - I hope something positive comes out of it. The band are understandably gutted. It looks like a syndicate job apparently.
noone fucks with iggy

Not very funny joke about going acoustic if anyone was wondering.
dh,
life goes on.
I got a post out of an add for you Iggy's/rockmother's woe.
I once got job (and a good one at that) at my uncles funeral.
I' hope he didn't mind.
Dickley - no - not very funny but it is a free world - don't edit yourself x
Momo Madster - yes - I saw - thank you. Funerals can be positive things you know..I would quite like Ace Of Spades played at mine really loud just because I can x

Hang on, Mike Watt plays in the Stooges now? When did that happen?
Hello Billster! Um...Mike Watt has been playing with The Stooges since around 2003 I think. I love his trademark boilersuit.
Canadian police have recovered the truck that was carrying Iggy & the Stooges‘ equipment that was stolen outside the band’s Montreal hotel. Unfortunately, all the instruments had already been removed from the vehicle and remain missing. The truck was found several blocks from the hotel. The Stooges are set to play a concert tonight in Toronto using borrowed equipment. Since the majority of the equipment had serial numbers, the possibility to resell the instruments will be difficult, police said. On losing his long-time Gibson bass, Mike Watt said “Her last gig was smoking. Igg was going off and the Montreal people were pumped up.” The band set up a website detailing their lost equipment here.

Cafe Del Nightmare - yep - heard that yesterday - meant to tell you. As before - very organised, very targetted, very stolen to order. Not good.
