I forgot about the vote for your fave podcast thing. Apparently, it allows us to vote just the once, per day.
You'll have to keep reminding us to vote repeatedly.

There's nothing wrong with vote rigging a podcast, is there?

Ist - that's a bit like pluggers going into record shops and buying all the singles for their band therefore propelling them top of the charts. We've got a new neighbour who was apparently in a successful 80's band that got dropped because of that scam. Their manager was one of the first people in this country to go to prison for doing exactly that - or so my new neighbour told me. Can't remember the name of the band - Big Something - not Big Audio Dynamite unfortunately...not as bloody brilliant as that.

Savannah - why thank you girrrrlfriend x

Ister - no....a really cheesy 80's sort of name like Big Power Generation - and he told me the name of the one main hit they did have but of course it was so bad I've forgotten again. I'll have to ask him again and try not to snigger! They were obviously doomed to fail anyway - if you can't remember the name of the band or the song then it can't have been that good really!

Ister - It was The Big Sound Authority (Cherry Red Records) Their top 20 hit was This House Is Where Our Love Stands (catchy!?!). You don't know what I had to do to get that information - supersleuth in a rock t-shirt. x

Do you know, I can't recall that one. I'll have to do some googling myself. Thanks for the lead though. x

I hot footed it over to YouTube, and I must say...I could only stick about the first 30 seconds of whatever song that started playing. It wasn't good, and when I saw the links on the right hand side for "Big Audio Dynamite" I wandered off without any guilt.
Oh dear.
