He's A Nut! He's Crazy In The Coconut!
Whatever happened to The Avalanches? They were a great band and Kuntz and Maguire made one of the best videos ever - here it is:
But what does it all mean? Which reminds me - I saw Bobby Gillespie walking through Soho today singing like an absent-minded child in the sun.

The Avalanches, ha, a bunch of “SPACERS”
Goofed out man.
I couldn’t find Bobby Gillespie. Web page not found.(on your end or mine??? I don’t know.
Momo Madster - I quite like the way they synced all the samples and I love the drummer in drag - he's so happy. Link to Bobby fixed - I left off the last l of the htm(l).
It took The Avalanches all their lives to make that great album.
The second one should be ready in 2055.
Judging by all the samples used on the first album they may have (a) been sued by all the acts who were sampled or (b) are having to clear use of all the samples used on their next album, hence the delay. Well, unless they're going off in a new skiffle direction.
I saw something on Holy Moly where a reader spotted Bobby Gillespie in a shop and said that he smelt like a warm arse salad. I hope you were down wind of him.
Geoffster - yes - looks like the second album isn't happening...I really liked the first album.
Bettster - ugh - I have been party to Bobby Gillespie vomitting behind his chair in an interview (c.1992) - was dreadful - I held my breath when he walked past just in case.
I don't know about anybody else, but 2min 22secs in, I suddenly got a hankering for a Dairy Milk.
Howeser - was there a drumming gorilla there somewhere? Phil Collins in a monkey outfit?
Not so much a gorilla as an odd looking old monkey thing.
I do hope i'm not the only one who saw it.
FX: Telephone Ringing,
