New Young Pony Club

I like this. It appeals to the occasional gormless side of my personality. If I was a teenager now I would crave to be in this band and would probably be dressing like them too. I like it for it's obvious retro quality too. It goes on a bit but you can't beat a bit of synth and 80's clothing when it's done well.

Ladies and Gentlemen........I give you.......New Young Pony Club with Icecream

For a moment I thought that was Lily Allen's older and slimmer sister doing all those sexually suggestive things with confectionary.

Lovin it, lovin the song, lovin the vibe, lovin the vid and mostly lovin the fashion, just how hip is that blue dress..sadly I no longer have the legs to carry it off...but oh for those glorious 80's day of legwarmers and batwing jumpers.

Yeah, I like it. Not as good as CSS, but it wouldn't get played on Radio 2, which is a big bonus in my book.

Wish I'd kept that electric blue jersey dress with the zip up neck and the shoulder pads from 1985 now ... I might be able to flog it on eBay.

By the way, since you were enquiring about her, Arabella's done a post.

Billy - glad you like it

Ister - it probably is!

DH - thank you

Jools - yes - the heady days of slash neck batwing garments. I had an out of body experience yesterday in Office Shoes looking at all the 80's style pumps and boots suddenly feeling my advancing years crashing around my ears. 20 years of memories came flooding back and I went into a bit of a catatonic glaze. I didn't buy anything I hasten to add but was and probably will be tempted shortly because I am weak willed and in denial.

Betty - that dress sounds great - I would buy it off you if you had it. Oh yes - I'm glad I didn't keep my metallic blue puffball ra-ra skirt and maroon slouch boots!! Cheers for letting me know about Arabella.

Pod - ha ha - I always sing it to myself when things are going badly at work - it cheers me up in a twisted sort sarcastic way.
