On The Other Hand - Ho-tel Mo-tel Holiday Iiinn

I still have the 12" full 15 minute version of this - and still know ALL the words - it's an absolute classic and check out the moves too. This is a rare recording at some venue called the Soap Factory in 1978. Enjoy - or skip to the next post if you don't like it.

OR - have a recap on LISTEN WITH ROCKMOTHER while you are patiently waiting for the
forthcoming podcast on slitswitch.

Oh yes I remember this one.

I knew a band called 'The Herbs' and they nicked this bassline for their song 'Trumpton Rap'.

I remember my sister playing this about 1 billion times when it came out.

Something very sweet about boasting about your 'colour TV' these days...

Ister - I think it's been nicked for loads of things hasn't it?

Annie - yes - plasma tv with surroundsound wouldn't sound quite right would it? I can't believe I still know all the words to the 12" version. I copied them into the back of my English book in a lesson once - tragic.
